A short update about Wasabi Defense
Yes, I’m still working on this game! A while ago, I decided to put Wasabi Defense on hold for a while because I felt it was turning into a crappy game and needed some serious redesigning. One of my main concerns was that the base you had to protect looked like absolute junk. That’s why that’s the first thing I decided to redesign. Here’s a little sneak preview of the new design:

I created this in Inkscape, and it lookes a million times better than the previous version. I’m gonna polish everything up some more with The Gimp (adding some textures and patterns), so I think the final version is gonna look pretty sw33t!
So, what buildings are there in the base? From left to right: pumping station, storage tank, launch bunker, automatic defense cannon, refinery, fuel plant and landing platform. Seven buildings instead of ten, wich I was originally going for. The two weapon turrets are gone. This was a lousy idea anyway. Instead, there’s an automatic turret in the middle of the base. This fires automatically at bombs or missiles that come within its range. It won’t make the base invulnerable, though, because it will have a slow firing speed.
